That was a deliberate attempt at using a homophone. As long as I say so, it is the undisputed fact so if you're searching for an intellectual discourse, you have clearly taken the wrong turn at the junction.
The wait is killing and still the advent approaches. The weight-induced pressure is forestalling all efforts to escape this state of abject darkness. But we all silently pray that it will come and leave as do the winds that tickle the wood chimes; sound the cacophony of death knells as the we begin the procession.
In spite of this obsession, I've always pondered about the never-coming appearance of the time machine. We are all witness and victims to the philosophical dead-routes that surround the mysteries behind the time machine. Central to this dispute is this: If time machines were to be invented some day, why haven't they visited the past--us?
Wait.
Not a verb, but a noun. The process of waiting may have taken its toll on humanity and while time and tide waits for no man, if nobody recognizes this then really, the sea will soon take its grand departure, as we wait in solidified hope for the coming of the time machine. The propensity for human beings to wait for a better future is repugnant and perhaps a potential ramification would be the eternal absence of the time machine. Every generation promulgates the coming of a time machine, that our future descendants will make the groundbreaking discovery, or perhaps the serendipitous stumbling of a mere human tomorrow will bring salt to the earth as we unearth a long-lost time machine.
Truth be told, the only thing that we have lost is yet to be found--passion. If it's anything that will drive us forward, it is the drive and motivation to look forward, and not to hope for ward--that is protection. And maybe the hopes of the coming of a time machine can keep us believing which will spark new paths carved ahead.
Oh wait! News just in: The wait is over. The time machine has arrived!
But wait. Promos are coming, so I guess time travelling will have to wait until..
further notice.
The time machine has always been around. We just never had the time to use it. Ironic huh.
