There once was a clam and a sluggish potato
who lazed around all day and went with the flow.
One was retarded and one was just slow,
but which was which nobody knows.
There once was a potato and a happy clam,
who talked all day night; an endless spam.
And when darkness fell and it was time to scram,
it is with much reluctant that we turn off the lamp.
One day the two were made into clam chowder,
with salt, cream and a nose-itching powder.
And out of the blue, came floating a flounder,
"Get out of here", said clam, "you're such a scoundrel!"
