Wasted. But I've never been better.
Getting down and dirty with my awesome classmates for the last 24 hours or so really made my week all the more fruitful. In some ways, we were all desperately longing for a break like this from our academic rigour but to be thrown into a desolate area like Punggol and yet feel like you're living in paradise takes a miracle--and that miracle is my company of classmates.
It wasn't that much of roughing it out but to enter the wilderness and just go back to basics really developed our relationship and dynamics one step further. Honestly, before the camp, I was doubtful that it would be of any use. Truth be told, I perceived our class to be the epitome of perfection. There were no occurrence of cliques or exclusions, no hatred within the class but only love and affection. Little did I know that there was still so much room for improvement and here we are now, emerged with new forged friendships and an even more tightly-knit community. We did the impossible; we went from awesome, to even more awesome; we transcended the boundaries of perfection only to become better than we ever were, and better than we ever thought we could be.
So to all my stalkerish classmates who lurk around on twitter and somehow found their way to this post (leave your name in the tag box if you are here haha), I just wanna give a really big shout out to you guys. We are only a quarter through our journey and that is good news--cause it means another awesome 1 and a half years await us (:
I've said this too many times but it's never enough.
I love you guys.
