It can very much be likened to Steve Jobs' death. How many can spout the truth when he/she says that they knew Jobs inside out? It is thus undeniable that the majority of us laymen never knew his actual greatness and the closest we probably got to was the youtube videos showcasing the unveiling of a new apple product. And while his death is now irrevocable, Jobs had propagated the inexorable march of technology, perhaps bringing the future into the present. And yet his sudden absence seemed to have cast a dark shadow over many of our daily lives, and this is in consideration that we have never once acknowledged his presence save the occasions we gape in awe at his new products.
And in the same manner, I have exhausted the past three and a half years yearning to graduate from the education system which I have often regarded as obsolete to my life journey and yet now, when it's all coming to a close, I yearn to go back. As the cliched phrase goes 'absence makes the heart grows fonder' and just maybe, because humans never cherish what they have and only desire what they don't have.
And these words that might not make sound logic to you, they mean the world to me. I write this as a conclusion to my term in secondary school.
Until the exams are over, I wish everyone the best of luck.
Hopefully, when it's all over, I'll be able to restart this engine.
See you on the other side.
