1) It's raining. Common phrase acquired by housewives as they frantically attempt to save their clothes. Only used for life-and-death situations.
2) It's pouring cats and dogs. Most frequent appearance have been noted to be PSLE essays. Remember the good old days when they actually encouraged use of cliches and the surprise buttsex in Secondary 1 when they contradicted themselves explicitly. Life's a bitch at times.
3) The sky was overcast and the clouds resonated gloom, as did the pitiful faces on the toddlers who yearned to be outside. We often juxtapose natural phenomenons to emotions and that makes us brilliant. Metaphors and use of allegories beautify the world.
And imagine a world without words. And when someone came to you and shouts "The cataclysm is falling". You blink and you stare; wondering how he spoke but really, what he said.
Somehow my universe is going towards that direction; only because I chose it. I pushed the mute button and because words can no longer depict my plight. And yet of most irony, I am in the midst of writing a paradox.
And there's only one point to prove here; you can't escape simply because you choose to.
So much for having a WWW.
Cataclysm raining down.
