Call me B-E-A-utiful /8:05 PM

I'm starting to lose myself to laziness, more than I can save myself from. Every moment of my life begs to be pleased and yet this dilemma is as good as nonexistent. There's obviously only one optimal choice for me to discern and yet there's only one explicit path I am going to take. Only problem is, as of now, I've yet to decide which is which.

I've always been striving to attain the perfect hybrid system, in which both sheer diligence and pleasure can be intrinsically intertwined with each other. Perhaps, it might be the case where one fights valiantly to be rewarded with riches and power. Or when one works indefatigably to shoot for the stars and emerge as the cream of the crop.

And yet one way or another, the same words that I have ascribed to my dilemma have repeatedly surfaced in the process of doing my portfolio. The qualities of being conscientious and exhibiting painstaking meticulousness and sheer perseverance. Or the value of change amidst adversity--to embrace change with a positive mentality.

And then my thoughts swayed in the course of processing today's blog post. Call me fickle minded but allowing myself to be taken away by choppy waters is my way of embracing freedom of expression.

While we are all contributing tireless efforts into our personal projects, we all have an end goal in mind--success and excellence. We put in effort to reach the pinnacle moments of our lives and yet while we celebrate in the fanfare of our peaks, there are others who work because they have to. The slaves that live hand to mouth toil tirelessly each day so much so that they may be rewarded, not to the materialistic wealth that guards our world today, but to the simple pleasures of life--freedom. Those quiet moments in their cells, accompanied with or even without their closest kin, counts for every second that passes.

But we just count our riches, and they're never enough. And so is the time of these prisoners; captives of freedom.

Just need to say it here but I absolutely love this bag and I want to buy it so badly! <3
