Nevertheless, loathing is sometimes amazing, how events transpire and one day, when it began with nothing--no plans and no direction--you end up catching a great movie before indulging in something 'adventurous' for dinner, to least put it. The outing wasn't beautified because X-men First Class filled us with awe. Granted, it made the X-men storyline wholesome and complete (for now) but it was the friends that were there and the stories we shared that made this movie pale in comparison. I always stood fast that movies were never social if the gathering began at the commercials and ceased at the credits. But days like yesterday were exceptional.
We even deviated from the journey home to go to Paya Lebar and ate our very first (except for Boze of course) Chou Dofu in Singapore. It was delightful in taste and exciting in smell. The fried pig intestines tickled our cravings even further. Even with fried mantou, our stomachs yearned for more but with our meager budget, it was all we could afford ):
Movie and full; No movie and hungry; The perfect combination comes with not what you do but who you bring.. because every moment is made special only with the presence of friends.
