Every teardrop is a waterfall /8:12 PM

Yet another sloppy day but the turnabout is, I've actually begun on my e-learning homework. Wasn't really that terrible but I know what lies ahead--the immense workload from projects and not to mention the least, Chinese practices. Seriously, if you even decide to take feedback from the already-graduated batch, of course they would look back and say: "Yea sure, we had it real easy back then. Perhaps, the department should step up the workload, tenfold minimally." Chinese teachers being Chinese teachers, they could not differentiate sarcasm from being forthright. So be it cynical or not, here we are marooned on a 'dead man's land' with only scraps of the holidays to chew on.

And now that every minute, every second, becomes apparently quantifiable and influential, I had better cherish it. Things move so fast nowadays, the re-advent of Technology--The PSVista, Wii U, iOS5 and even Lion OSX--nothing seems to redefine the way we think or live anymore; just fulfilling so-called expectations of a minimalist. And yet the a re-prediction of Rapture, the immense arrival of 2012, the recent explosion of our Sun on 7 June--are our lives any less predictable than before?

I don't want to be skeptical or anything, but gut feeling says the world is reshaping itself in many various dimensions--both good and bad. It's like the sphere is contorting into a caricature of mockery and disdain, born from the works of humankind which we have so calmly molded into our future.

And maybe now to the once rich and mighty folks, they are scrambling as ants do when their hill is crushed unexpectedly, and perhaps every tear they shed be as valuable as their every penny is no longer.

Aztec 1: I've had enough of making this calendar, let's stop here
Aztec 2: Are you sure people won't start hypothesizing that the world will end on 21st Dec 2012?
Aztec 3: Nah, I doubt people aren't that stupid(?)!

That question still hangs.
