Yep, just another casual day with the scouty people. Well, not so casual but average kind of scouting experience most normal individuals will lose out on. It was a really good time just that I wasn't really dressed up for the right occasion. Intuition told me to wear shoes because we were going to bike but I forgot bout the sand and the sea sitting by the coast. A text message said to bring extra set of clothes, but it was clearly undermined with me forgetting undergarment and a towel or something. Regardless of these, I didn't bother changing anyways. It was a $6 for 3 hours bike cum emo cum camwhore time today. I always wondered why camwhore had the word 'whore' in it. Pure coincidence or an overlooked innuendo?

Anyway, ditched Aidan and Gabriel to go to the library afterwards... wut?? Yea, had the sudden craving to read certain books but the Marine Parade library was grossly disappointing with a small range of collections. Not many good books and popular authors were missing from the shelves. So I took a trip to Borders at Parkway Parade and instinctively grabbed 'House Rules' off the No. 1 top placing of the Top 100 books. Just looked so appealing after reading the synopsis and observing 4 other books written by Jodi Picoult on the top 100 shelf as well. That speaks something powerful about the author and so it is. Haven't bought a book for a really really long while ever since the Lost Symbol which was a real thriller. I know this one's gonna blow me away but I'm saving it for December :D

A month's almost gone and here I am still not taken in by the holiday mood. Hope the trip to Taiwan will turn things for the better.
