Onlooking as a spectator (from TV) to the ignition of the Youth Olympic Games flame literally melts my heart, because our nation has progressed so much rapidly in such a short period of time. But that's beside the point because I managed to pull my fixated gaze upon the tv screen back to blogging...
It was a slow but relaxing outing to Resorts World Sentosa yesterday and I'm still waiting for the pictures we took. Not aplenty but meaningful, despite the fact that it was just a duo group. It was an eye-opener to the scenery and it felt really great to be in the midst of such exclusive and high-class environment. We ended up buying a small popcorn, after much deliberation, of Chicago mix, i.e. Cheese popcorn mixed with that of caramel. I preferred the latter more significantly but the formal proved to be unique and rather tasteful nevertheless. However, once my taste buds settled into the delightful tingling of the expensive popcorn, I got sick of it and really could no longer stomach anymore. I ended up giving it to Jervan but it was really good popcorn :D
I accompanied Jervan back to Vivo for his bak kut teh and I just sat opposite, carefully eyeing every mouthful of soup he took, resisting my everflowing salivation. I had to keep track of my monetary expense so dinner was not within my budget anymore.. fancy eating popcorn for dinner huh?
Today we had badge patch 2010 in the scouts HQ and I actually ponned my Math DMP just to get the 5-piece badge that was exclusive to this event. I can't wait to sew the badges on! Woooootz!
Life is great, sometimes we just need to know why it is.
